Lifeline is one of the best known national Australian charities, providing 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services to people experiencing emotional distress. This organization exists so that no person in Australia has to face their toughest moments alone.

Each year, Lifeline runs a Christmas Toy Raffle to raise funds for their support centres across the country.

In 2025, Bankstown Sports decided to get behind this fantastic cause with a donation of close to $17,000 in toys. Our members also got onboard, raising over $12,000 in raffle ticket sales, with all proceeds going to Lifeline services in the western Sydney and Macarthur regions.

This contribution is in addition to the Easter Egg Raffle that was run by Bankstown Sports and our associated venues earlier this year, with all money raised going to support Lifeline. The Club contributed over $13,000 in Easter Eggs, and our members raised over $8,500 in raffle ticket sales.

This was an inclusive and engaging fundraising initiative for Lifeline and was a great way to showcase the life-changing work they do for our community.
