Bankstown Sports Group is pleased to confirm that our clubs have been selected as finalists in six categories for the 2026 Clubs & Community Awards.

This annual event is an opportunity for clubs to share their stories and celebrate the positive impact our industry has on the community in NSW, with an awards night held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, in June.

Bankstown Sports submitted nominations in the following categories this year –

Grassroots Sport – showcasing our support of the Box Hill Hockey Field and celebrating the partnership between the Norwest Strikers and local schools to grow the game of hockey in the Hills Shire. 

Healthcare – highlighting the initiatives undertaken by Bankstown Sports Club to combat homelessness in the Canterbury Bankstown LGA.

Mental Wellbeing – putting a spotlight on Bankstown Sports Club’s support of Lifeline.

Social Inclusion – outlining Bankstown Sports Clubs partnership with Disability Sports Australia and the multi-faceted approach to bringing our community together through sport.

Vibrancy and Culture – celebrating nine years of support for the Lebanese Film Festival at Bankstown Sports Club.

Heart of the Community – celebrating one of our incredible volunteers from the Bankstown Sports Stars Football Club.

Bankstown Sports Group is thrilled to be recognised for the work we do for our community, members and guests, and we look forward to celebrating the achievements of all clubs in our industry.
