BIYANI HOUSE REVESBY WOMEN'S SHELTER

BLOG, COMMUNITY NEWS | 28 Nov 2025 |

Biyani House believes that everyone deserves to live a life free from violence and fear. One where women and children can live in safety and with dignity, with the opportunity to rebuild their lives after times of crisis.

 And Bankstown Sports Club agrees.

Which is why we have committed $150,000 over the next five years, to support the shelter’s operational costs. This funding will go towards administration and salary costs, shelter expenses, client support, utilities and property maintenance.

Biyani House is a not-for-profit organisation that offers crisis accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic and family abuse. This shelter is not just a refuge… it is a beacon of hope and transformation in the Canterbury-Bankstown community.

The support system at Biyani House includes counselling, employment and housing assistance, and financial guidance, which is all tailored to help women and their families forge new beginnings.

Between January 2022 and December 2024, Biyani House housed 151 women and children, supported an additional 152 families through their outreach service once they had moved out of the shelter, and assisted a further 132 women in the local community.

Bankstown Sports is proud to support such a vital and worthwhile organisation.
