BERALA CARRAMAR HARDCOURT TENNIS ASSOCIATION BEST YEAR YET

The Berala Carramar Hardcourt Tennis Association (BCHTA) is celebrating its most successful season ever in the Interdistrict Championships, with all four boys’ teams in the play-offs going on to win their finals.

Championship wins included:

16 & Under, Presidents Cup Premier Division 1 – defeated Camden 6–40 to 1–23

16 & Under, Presidents Cup Division 3 – defeated Strathfield Sports Club 5–31 to 0–12

14 & Under, Esca Stephens Cup Premier 1 – defeated Northern Suburbs 6–39 to 1–19

12 & Under, McAndrew Cup Premier 1 – defeated Northern Suburbs 5–30 to 0–8

The season’s highlight came when Peter Noon, BCHTA’s number one Presidents Cup player, won the Ken Rosewall Best and Fairest Medal — the first ever for a BCHTA player.

With 11 teams entered and 4 champions crowned, this year marks a historic milestone for BCHTA. The club acknowledges the ongoing support of Bankstown Sports in helping make these achievements possible.
