CELEBRATING OUR SPORT VOLUNTEER CHAMPIONS

BLOG, COMMUNITY NEWS | 23 Oct 2025 |

Bankstown Sports recently hosted the annual Service to Sport Medal and Awards Night, celebrating the outstanding achievements of volunteers, clubs, and associations across our sporting family.

The event has become a highlight of the Bankstown Sports calendar, bringing together representatives from 40 affiliated sporting clubs and associations to recognise those who go above and beyond for grassroots sport.

Guests enjoyed a memorable evening featuring a Q+A panel with sporting greats Benji Marshall and Robbie Slater, live music by Top Shelf Live, entertainment from Benny the Magician, and a three-course meal. The stunning digital displays by AVisual and elegant styling by My Special Day created the perfect atmosphere for the celebration.

Bankstown Sports contributes over $4 million annually to community sport, and the Awards Night provides an important opportunity to celebrate the volunteers and clubs who make that impact possible.
