We love seeing these wonderful ladies when they come into the club for lunch!
These are members of the Bankstown Sports Women’s Golf Club which was established 59 years ago, almost to the day. In 1963, there were no female golfers playing for the Bankstown District. But some determined young women decided to change that.
Eleven ladies attended the first meeting and over the years, the club has grown so much that they occasionally have a waiting list to join.
Sefton Golf Course has been their weekly venue for the past 25 years where they tee off every Tuesday at 8am.
