Described as a highlight on the NSW Track Racing calendar, the Bankstown Sports Cup cycling event returned to the Dunc Grey Velodrome for two days of racing action! 

Held across two days in early December, the event featured the NSW Scratch and Madison Championships, as well as the NSW Elimination Championship which would normally be held in Tamworth. 

Nine Bankstown Sports Cycling Club athletes from elite, junior and Masters levels took part in the carnival, with Peter Samuel placing 2nd and Markuss Ferraro coming 4th in the U11/U13s. 

Markuss Ferraro came 1st in the U11s Tempo race, Allegra Ferraro placed 5th in the U15 Scratch race, while Issac Silva and Andy Vu had great races coming off a study break for the HSC. 

Little Wings was the official charity partner of the event, receiving gold coin donations from both riders and spectators on the day. 

Bankstown Sports was proud to support this event with prize money and venue hire.
