Celebrating Our Sporting Community: 2026 Service to Sport Medal & Awards Night

On Monday 19th October, we came together for the 2026 Service to Sport Medal & Awards Night, an evening dedicated to recognising the incredible people who give so much to our local sporting community.

At the heart of community sport are the volunteers who dedicate their time, energy and passion to helping their clubs thrive. From committee members and coaches to officials, administrators and the many people working behind the scenes, their contribution is what keeps community sport moving forward.

The Service to Sport Medal & Awards Night provides an opportunity to pause and celebrate these individuals, recognising not only the hours they give, but the lasting impact they have on their clubs, members and the wider community.

A huge congratulations to all of our 2026 medal and award recipients. Your dedication to sport and your commitment to supporting others is an outstanding example of what makes our sporting community so special.

We also thank everyone who joined us on the night to celebrate our recipients and show their support. It was wonderful to bring together representatives from across our sporting community to recognise the people who so often work tirelessly behind the scenes.

To all our volunteers, thank you. Your contribution reaches far beyond the hours you give. You help create welcoming clubs, stronger communities, and opportunities for people to connect through sport.

Congratulations again to all of our 2026 Service to Sport Medal and Award Recipients.
