BANKSTOWN KOOKABURRAS COMPETE AT THE KOORI NETBALL TOURNAMENT

The Bankstown Kookaburras, supported by Bankstown Sports Club, recently competed in the Koori Netball Tournament in Charlestown, celebrating indigenous culture. 

Bankstown Sports Netball Club and other members of Bankstown City Netball Association sent two teams to the competition, with one of their teams coming home undefeated in their group.  

Showcasing and raising participation of local indigenous female talent in a fun, competitive and inclusive environment, the Koori Netball Tournament hosts over 1,000 Aboriginal netballers from across the state.  

Bankstown Sports supported the teams by providing funds to subsidise the registration and accommodation costs for the travelling members.
