On Saturday, 25 July 2026, the Grand Ballroom at Bankstown Sports Club welcomed emergency service personnel, community leaders, Rotary members and supporters from across New South Wales and the ACT for the annual Rotary Emergency Services Community Awards (RESCA).

As the Community Principal Partner for the third consecutive year, Bankstown Sports proudly joined Rotary in recognising the extraordinary contributions of paid and volunteer emergency service workers who exemplify Rotary's guiding principle of "Service Above Self."

The RESCA Awards honour individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership, integrity, commitment and service within their communities. Nominated by members of the public and endorsed by their respective agencies, recipients are recognised not only for their professional achievements but for the lasting impact they make on the lives of others.

The ongoing partnership between Bankstown Sports and Rotary reflects a shared commitment to strengthening communities and celebrating those who dedicate themselves to helping others.

Through its support of the RESCA Awards, Bankstown Sports helps shine a spotlight on the often-unseen efforts of emergency service personnel who work tirelessly to keep communities safe. The event also serves a broader purpose, raising funds for Australian Rotary Health mental health research and Pacific Island disaster training initiatives, ensuring that the impact of the evening extends far beyond the awards presentation.
