Another group of food-loving bloggers have been treated to a delicious meal at Bankstown Sports Club, this time at the newest addition to our Asian dining precinct – Peking Sq.
The group of 8 arrived at 6.30pm on Friday and gathered in one of the private dining rooms inside the restaurant. They were very impressed with the décor in Peking Sq. and the amount of detail in each different area of the restaurant.
Our guests were treated to each dish on the Jade Banquet, starting with a savoury crepe, filled with slow-roasted Peking duck, shaved cucumber and our special hoisin sauce, and the Peking Sq. San Choy Bow with diced Peking duck fillets, pine nuts and crunchy thin rice noodles.
The meal continued with a wok-tossed lobster tail, which most of the bloggers regarded as the stand-out dish of the evening, alongside the Shandong-style chicken, wagyu beef fillet cubes, the Buddha’s vegetarian delight and barramundi in Peking sauce. The meal was accompanied by our Conpoy fried rice and Thai Jasmine steamed rice, and was finished with mango pancakes and jelly with coconut green tea and red bean.
