Tusk, Feral Brewing Co, Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown Sports Club, beer
TUSK – the 10.8% American IPA that really packs a punch, is proving to be a massive hit with beer-lovers right across Sydney, with our exclusive supply expected to run out within 24 hours.
Feral Brewing Co only releases two batches of TUSK every year under very strict distribution conditions, and Basement Brewhouse was lucky enough to secure one of the kegs.
The first TUSK beer was poured at the Brewhouse at 11.15am today – the official Tusk Day – and Dale Maher was the first person to try it. He’s a regular at Sporties and actually took the day off work to make sure he got to try TUSK, before it ran out.
“It’s very nice. Nice and fruity, goes down very easily. You wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s almost 11 per cent”.
“I read a bit about it (TUSK) online before I came down so I was expecting a fruity beer, but I didn’t really expect it to taste like this. It’s delicious!”.
Dale says he’s been a big fan of Basement Brewhouse and its beer range, since the venue opened last November.
“I was down here on the day the Brewhouse opened and I come down here quite a lot. I love to come down and watch some sport and have a drink or something to eat”.
