Turbo Climb has been officially opened next to the Monkey Mania play structure precinct, featuring fun indoor climbing walls up to 10 metres tall, which are suitable for ages 5 to 85, with qualified instructors, the latest equipment and safety briefings for every climber.
Canterbury Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour was on hand for the ribbon-cutting, joined by Bankstown Sports Club President John Murray, Director Alex Fulcher and CEO Mark Condi.
Mr Condi – who gave the climbing walls a go – says Turbo Climb is a great new addition to the entertainment offering at the club.
“This new outlet is something new and different for the local area; there is nothing like it in Bankstown. We’re always trying to offer our members and guests a unique and memorable experience when they visit us, and I think Turbo Climb will do exactly that”.
“I had a crack at some of those climbing walls today and they are a great workout, and lots of fun! It really is great entertainment for the whole family, from little kids to adults. There’s a climbing challenge to suit everyone”.
Climbing sessions are $18 per person and they run for an hour, which includes a full equipment and safety rundown, and all the climbing you can fit in! A special bundle deal is also available, which includes a climbing session and unlimited play at Monkey Mania for $29.90. Sessions are run every hour and cater for up to 26 climbers at a time.
There are party packages available for children’s birthdays, starting from $249 for 8 children, which includes a 1 hour climb session, party food, arcade tokens and a dedicated party host. And for the adults, Turbo Climb is ideal for corporate bonding events, with the venue available for private hire on weekdays and weeknights.
