The School Holidays are fast approaching and once again, we'll be hosting a series of engaging and interactive activities for kids to participate in.

On Tuesday 2 October, we will be kicking the school holidays off with Cinderella’s Dance Party. This fun re-telling of your favourite fairy-tale offers loads of sing-along fun and dancing with Cinderella, her wicked step-sisters, the magical fairy godmother and a handsome prince. Come dressed as your favourite Cinderella character and join in the fun! Tickets are $5 for members and $7 for non-members. Doors open at 1pm and the show commences at 1.30pm, in The Theatre. All attendees, including supervising adults, require a ticket.

If your child is into the Minecraft craze, we have the perfect show for you! Minecraft Masters Filmmaking classes will run on Wednesday 3 October and 10 October and are great for beginners or seasoned Minecraft experts. Using IPads and a green screen, participants will create their own Minecraft videos. Tickets are $30 per child. Sessions commence at 10.30am.

Ever wondered how a film can scare you right of your seat? The Scary Movie Making workshop will be held on Wednesday 3 October and 10 October and is the perfect activity if you love films and telling stories. You will use iPads, microphones and iMovie to create one-minute Scary Movie trailers in small groups. All tickets $30. Workshops commence at 2pm.

On Thursday 4 October and Monday 8 October, join us for Kids Bingo in the Rainforest Lounge, with some great prizes on offer. Tickets are $5 and games are for children only. Session runs from 10.30am-12pm.

Battle it out with your friends in our mini Fortnite Tournament on Thursday 4 October. Free play of FIFA, Tekken and Rocket League is also included in the ticket price. Played on PC or XBOX. Tickets are $10 which includes soft drink and popcorn.

On Friday 5 October, create bright and vibrant works of art with our Happy Kids Sand Art classes. Tickets are $20. Session commences at 10.30am. Then, at 2pm join us for the Something Wild Reptile Display which incorporates a range of native animals, including pythons, lizards, frog, crocodile, bird, and possums. Tickets are $10 per child.

On Tuesday 9 October and Thursday 11 October, we have our Make Your Own Churros classes at San Churro. Tickets are $14.95 and sessions begin at 10.30am and 12pm.

Free Marvel Movie Trivia will be taking place in the Rainforest Lounge on Thursday 11 October. First round commences at 7.30pm. It’s FREE, and there are great prizes on offer. Why not dress as your favourite Marvel Icon and make a night of it?

Brendon Mon Tanner brings his explosive and dynamic stage show to Bankstown Sports during the Xtreme Magic Show on Wednesday 10 October in The Theatre The audience will witness incredible magic, illusions and daredevil stunts. Tickets are $5 for members and $7 for non-members. Show commence 1.30pm. All attendees, including supervising adults, require a ticket.

Cake It Up classes will be held on Friday 12 October at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm. Join in and create a deliciously sweet treat! Tickets are $10.

Turbo Climb, inside the club has 26 exciting climbing walls to try out. Bring the whole family for an hour of climbing fun for just $18 per person or make a day of it with our special $29.90 package deal which also gets you entry into Monkey Mania. (Turbo Climb is suitable for ages 5-85 years).

End the school holidays with a bang at the Monkey Mania Rainbow Disco on Friday 12 October. Tickets $15 per child if pre-purchased by Thursday 11th October 5:00pm or $20 per child ticket if purchased on the day. Adult tickets $4.50 and includes complimentary drink voucher. Event takes place between 6.30pm-9.30pm.

Movie sessions will be in full swing in The Theatre throughout the school holidays with some great recent release films showing. Adult tickets are $10, kids are just $5 and popcorn buckets are $3.50. For session times, head to www.BankstownSports.com/movies

To avoid disappointment, it is recommended that tickets to School Holiday activities are pre-purchased as they do sell out. All minors under the age of 18 are required to be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times for all activities. Adult tickets are required for movies, shows and Monkey Mania, however all other activities allow an adult to attend free of charge.
