HELP AUSSIE FARMERS
Bankstown Sports are proud to be getting involved in supporting Aussie farmers and rural communities who are experiencing hardship caused by the current drought. Bankstown Sports is encouraging patrons to get behind the cause, providing multiple ways to contribute.
Bankstown Sports has kick started the support, and purchased 2 truckloads of hay valued at $11,400, which will be donated to farmers in NSW. Hay is a valuable product and necessary for supplemental feeding of livestock when the rain stops. Current livestock food sources run dangerously low. This donation of hay will assist farmers continue to feed their livestock during the drought.
In addition to this donation, customers of Bankstown Sports, Bankstown Sports Bowls, The Acres Club, Birrong Sports, Baulkham Hills Sports and Auburn Tennis Club can personally purchase a bale of hay for $20 from Reception. There are also a donation boxes at Reception for cash donations that will go directly to Buy a Bale, and all tip jars across the venues will be donating funds to the Salvation Army’s Rural Support.
All funds from these sales will be donated directly to the Buy a Bale initiative. Get involved and get behind our Aussie farmers doing it tough.
