Bankstown Sports Club, in partnership with Disability Sports Australia, recently supported an inspiring all-abilities sport day at the Bankstown Basketball Stadium. Over 200 children from local schools across the Bankstown LGA participated in the event, enjoying a day filled with inclusive sports and activities.

The event featured a wide range of sports, including archery, soccer, football, Australian rules, basketball, and other engaging extracurricular activities. Designed to be inclusive and accessible, the day provided a safe and supportive environment where children of all abilities could explore new sports, develop their skills, and enjoy the thrill of active participation.

Bankstown Sports proudly contributed $3,500 to support the second instalment of the program, ensuring it was entirely free for all participants and schools. This funding covered essential costs, including equipment, venue hire, and coaching support, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for the kids.

Disability Sports Australia aims to empower individuals with disabilities in our local community to lead more active, fulfilling lives and fostering a culture of inclusivity and well-being.
