Bankstown Sports Bowls Club is hosting its annual ANZAC Day Mixed Bowls Legacy Fundraiser again, in support of the widows and children of Defence Force personnel who have suffered serious injury, illness or death.
This is the 5th year the event has been held and it’s hosted by the Bankstown Sports Bowls Men’s Bowling Club. They put together a few friendly games of mixed bowls, there will be a short ANZAC Day commemoration service and some lunch, and everyone from the local community and beyond is invited to take part.
All fitness and skill levels are welcome – even if you’ve never played before! There will be plenty of people there to mentor you and teach you how the play… you may even make a few new friends along the way.
The event kicks off at 9am at Bankstown Sports Bowls Club on Tuesday, 25 April and tickets are $25 per person, which includes games of bowls and lunch. Single and team registrations are welcome and all entry fees are donated to Legacy.
