Today it was announced that Al Aseel is set to bring its authentic Lebanese cuisine and hospitality to Bankstown Sports, transporting diners to the villages of Lebanon. Renowned for its traditional family-style feasting and flavoursome recipes. Al Aseel food is both accessible and affordable for all occasions and celebrations. Set to open in December 2020, diners will soon be able to experience Al Aseel’s signature dishes including kibbe, fattoush, hommos, shawarma and knafeh the way they were intended.
Al Aseel, who were recently awarded ‘Outstanding Restaurant of the Year’ and ‘Business of the Year’ at the Canterbury Bankstown Local Business Awards, have grown from a low-key restaurant in Greenacre, to a six-site-strong business covering Alexandria, Penrith, Fairy Meadow, Castle Hill and now Bankstown.
Al Aseel Bankstown projected a two-million dollar investment into the local community, with construction commencing in September. The restaurant opening will create fifty additional jobs in Bankstown, with hiring commencing for chefs, kitchen hands, waitresses and managers.
Bankstown Sports CEO, Mark Condi, says he is excited for the positive impact the collaboration will have on the community.
