Bankstown Sports Club has locked in its second fundraiser movie session for the ClubsNSW Do Something Day, with a 1.00pm screening of Eye in the Sky on June 15, raising money for the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal (Bankstown Corp).
Do Something Day is an initiative that’s been created by ClubsNSW in conjunction with politicians, celebrities, sports stars and other ambassadors, to encourage individuals and organisations to carry out random acts of kindness for someone or something that they care about. It’s all in the spirit of ‘giving’ – which is the central theme of the Your Local Club campaign.
The Salvation Army offers support without discrimination, to anyone who needs it. In times of crisis – whether its fire, flood, family violence, addiction, poverty or homelessness - the Salvos are there to help.
Thousands of Australians turn to them for help each week, and their annual Red Shield Appeal raises much-needed funds to keep their range of vital services going.
We would like to invite everyone along to watch this special session, with $7.50 from every adult ticket sold and $2.50 from every child’s ticket sold going directly back to the charity.
