We are thrilled to announce Bankstown Sports Club has locked in its first #DoSomethingDay charity movie session on June 15 at 10.30am, supporting Dandelion Support Network.
This organisation is run by volunteers who accept, sort and safety check nursery items, clothes, toys and linen for babies and kids. Once prepared, the donations are then passed on to families in need through referrals from social workers at hospitals and welfare agencies, free of charge.
The charity’s vision is that all babies and children have access to nursery items essential for their safety, well-being and development. It does not receive any government funding, and relies solely on donations from the community.
As part of the ClubsNSW #DoSomethingDay initiative, Bankstown Sports will host a special screening of Mother’s Day, with $7.50 from every adult ticket sold and $2.50 from every child’s ticket sold going directly back to the Dandelion Support Network.
Anyone can come along to this movie screening and we would encourage everyone to come along and help raise money for a great cause!
