Bankstown Sports AFL Club is hosting a movie fundraiser screening of Storks, this Sunday 23 October in The Theatre, to raise money for their upcoming season. They’re hoping to cover some of the costs associated with uniforms, ground hire, first aid and council rates, so they can lower the fees for their members.
The AFL Club was re-established in 2015 after a two-year hiatus and it’s still trying to boost its numbers. Organisers found out about our movie fundraiser sessions through our Sport and Community Department and through details on our website, and they’re hoping for a big turnout this weekend.
Bankstown Sports members and patrons are more than welcome to attend the screening to help the club raise funds, with $7.50 from every adult ticket and $2.50 from every child’s ticket sold going directly to the club.
If you would like to organise a fundraiser movie session for your charity or sporting group, please contact our Events Team on 9722 9888. Sessions are usually held on Monday nights and are open to the public, and bookings are essential.
