Bankstown Sports Club takes problem gambling seriously and has always been proactive in this regard, promoting Gambling Help services throughout the club and online.
Voluntary pre-commitment allows individuals to gamble within their means. If they are concerned about their gambling, they can set a limit for themselves on their member card before they play the gaming machines. Once the pre-determined limit is reached, the player will be alerted by the player console and a message sent to the manager who will attend to the machine to determine the necessary action required.
The scheme gives the player the ability to keep track of their daily, weekly and monthly gaming spend and there are options available, such as: exclusion from gaming promotions for 24 hours once a pre-set limit has been reached; cooling off periods for increasing limits and real-time implementation of reduced limits at the player’s request.
To participate in voluntary pre-commitment, please see one of our Duty Managers and they will assist.
