Membership Terms & Conditions (Nov 2023)

1. Upon successfully registering to become a Member of the Bankstown Sports Group, and as a term of your membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Reward Points Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time by the Club.
2. The following definitions will apply throughout these Terms and Conditions:
   • Anniversary Date means 12 months from the date a member first visits a Venue after 4 April 2022 and enters a Reward Level.
   • Active Member means a Member who has visited a Venue during the 12 month period preceding their Anniversary Date.
   • Bankstown Sports Group means Bankstown Sports, Baulkham Hills Sports, The Acres Club, Auburn Tennis Club, Birrong Sports and Bankstown Sports Bowls, and any registered club which the Club may amalgamate with in the future, which are owned and operated by the Club.
   • Club means Bankstown District Sports Club Limited ABN 88 000 243 916 of 8 Greenfield Parade, Bankstown NSW 2200.
   • Date First Registered means the date that a Member completes an application for membership to the Club, online or in a Venue.
   • Day is a reference to a calendar date beginning on midnight AEST until 11.59pm AEST.
   • Grading Points means the points which accrue based on a Member's spend (on food and beverage) and turnover (on gaming machines) and which determine the Reward Level a Member is within.
   • Inactive Member means a Member who has not visited a Venue during the 12 month period preceding their Anniversary Date.
   • Member means a person whose name has been entered on the Register of Members of the Club and who remains a financial member in accordance with the Club's Constitution.
   • More Rewards means the rewards program operated by the Club for the benefit of its members, as set out in the Reward Points Terms and Conditions, which may be amended from time to time.
   • Reward Points accrue when Members make purchases in the Club, and they can be redeemed throughout Bankstown Sports Group and venues in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Reward Points expire if the Member becomes an Inactive Member.
   • Reward Points Terms and Conditions means the terms and conditions contained in Annexure A to these terms and conditions and includes the Rewards Schedule, as amended by the Club from time to time in its absolute discretion.
   • Tier Reward Level means the Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond membership tiers, calculated based on the Reward Points and Grading Points accrued in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
   • Venue means any of the premises operated by the Bankstown Sports Group as a registered club, restaurant or bar.
   • $ or dollar is a reference to Australian monetary currency.
   • 12 Months – is a reference to a period of twelve (12) calendar months.
3. As a condition of becoming a Member of the Club, you will need to supply the following details:
   • Name, date of birth and gender;
   • Residential address and/or postal address; and
   • telephone/mobile and email addresses.
4. Your membership application must be finalised in venue and you agree to be bound by the Rules, Constitution, By-Laws, Regulations, Bankstown Sports Privacy Statement, Privacy Policy and any other terms and conditions or policies of the Club or the Bankstown Sports Group which may be in force or amended from time to time.
5. Once your Membership is finalised, your name will be entered in the Club's Register of Members. This will be your Date First Registered. If a Member applies for registration online or in app, the Member will be required to visit the Club or associated venues to have their ID sighted and photo taken. Your membership and associated benefits will start from this day.
6. All information you provide will be kept by the Club in the Register of Members and will only be used in accordance with the Registered Clubs Act 1976 (NSW), these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy (such as for future promotion, marketing and publicity purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy).
7. Your membership and Rewards Points are conditional upon a Member being an Active Member. A Member must visit a Venue during the 12 month period preceding their Anniversary Date to keep their membership and any associated Reward Points and Grading Points active. If a member becomes an Inactive Member, they will forfeit all Reward Points and Grading Points.
8. Upon submission of a valid email address and/or phone number, you consent to receiving email and/or SMS communications from the Bankstown Sports Group. You agree that you will be opted in to receive all material or correspondence, via email and/or SMS only, including but not limited to marketing or promotional material and any document or notices required to be provided to you under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
9. To ensure seamless access to all the exclusive benefits and amenities at Bankstown District Sports Club venues, members are required to swipe or scan their membership card upon entry. This registration process is necessary for each visit, even if it is not the first entry made on any given day.

10. Bankstown District Sports Club Ltd is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Amendment Act (Enhancing Protection) 2012, which amends the Privacy Act 1988. The personal information provided by you on this form will be used to process your membership application. A copy of the complete Privacy Policy can be accessed at BankstownSports.com (see link below).

All information required on this membership form is essential for approval of your membership. You have a right to access and correct any of your personal information that the Club holds on you. The Club does not disclose your personal information to any other organisation or person otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy. The Club may disclose your information to third parties that provide services under contract to the Club for reasons of database management or software development. This will be done under strict agreements and supervision, ensuring that your personal information is confidential and secure.

Your personal information, including information obtained as a result of placing your Membership card in a gaming machine or point of sale outlet (not Automatic Teller Machines), may be used for marketing purposes to improve our services and to provide you with the latest information about those services and any promotions.

1. Upon you becoming a Member, you agree that all Reward Points are subject to these Terms and Conditions, in addition to the membership Terms and Conditions.
2. By swiping or scanning your membership card (printed or digital) at the time of making a purchase in a Venue, you agree to participate in the More Rewards Program and to be bound by these Reward Points Terms and Conditions and the Rewards Schedule, as amended from time to time in the Club's absolute discretion.
3. You must be an Active Member to participate in the program.
4. Rewards are subject to the Reward Level of the Active Member.
5. Members agree to receive marketing communications in relation to offers and promotions being run by the Bankstown Sports Group. The Member agrees to receive communication via email, SMS or push notifications (unless they have 'opted out' of receiving marketing communication).
6. Members accrue 3 Reward Points for every $1 spent by swiping or scanning their membership card during any transaction in a Venue (excludes San Churro, Sushi Izu, Mercure and Al Aseel), or by inserting their membership card when playing any gaming machine (unless the transaction is of a type referred to in clause 6 or 7).

1. Members will accrue 1 Reward Point for every $1 spent on a private event booked with the Club at one of it's venues.
2. Members will accrue Reward Points in the gaming machines as follows:
   • When playing electronic gaming machines Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $9 turnover;
   • When playing multi-terminal machines, Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $36 turnover; and
   • Diamond, Platinum and Gold Members will accrue double the Reward Points set out in clauses 7(I) and (II) above when playing any gaming machine.
3. Members can earn Points to Play whilst playing gaming machines at the rates outlined in clause 7 above. These can be redeemed on gaming machines or on outlets that accept Reward Points throughout the venue. Up to $50 in Points to Play points can be redeemed during a 24-hour period on gaming machines (timed from first redemption) and credit cannot exceed turnover recorded in a play session.
4. A member cannot use Reward Points to purchase alcoholic beverages while playing a poker machine and must purchase alcoholic beverages from the bar.
5. Members can use Reward Points to make purchases in a Venue. 1 Reward Point can be redeemed for $0.01.
6. A Member can redeem Reward Points at any Venue including tenanted outlets. Reward Points cannot be redeemed to purchase Bankstown Sports Gift Cards, show tickets or or externally managed services, including but not limited to Uber Eats. Reward Points cannot be redeemed for cash.
7. Reward Points are not transferrable and a Member cannot accrue or redeem Reward Points on behalf of another Member
8. It is the responsibility of the Member to hand the Club's staff their physical or digital card before proceeding with the purchase. Reward Points cannot be awarded after a purchase has been made. Once a transaction is complete, a staff member is unable to issue Reward Points.
9. Reward Points whilst playing gaming machines will only be credited if the Member correctly inserts their Membership card into the gaming machine during play.
10. Benefits and rewards for each Reward Level are subject to change at the discretion of the Club.
11. In the event of termination of a membership in any circumstance, all points and associated rewards will automatically be cancelled and hence not redeemable from the time of termination of Membership.
12. A member who has been suspended or who has entered into a full venue self-exclusion deed is not eligible to earn or redeem Reward Points.

1. All Active Members commence on the 'Basic' Tier Reward Level when they join as a Member.
2. Grading Points are determined by turnover on gaming machines, as well as how much a Member spends within the Bankstown Sports Group across food and beverage.
3. Grading Points allow Members to graduate to a higher Reward Level.
4. With the purchase of food and beverage within the Club, Members earn 3 Grading Points for every $1 spent.
5. When playing electronic gaming machines (EGM), Members earn 1 Grading Point for every $5 turnover, and when playing multi-terminal machines, Members earn 1 Grading Point for every $20 turnover.

1. Grading Points will determine the Reward Level as follows:
   • To start receiving Bronze Rewards, Members must accrue between 300-1,499 Grading Points in 180 days.
   • To start receiving Silver Rewards, Members must accrue between 1,500 – 19,999 Grading Points in 180 days.
   • To start receiving Gold Rewards, Members must accrue between 20,000 – 49,999 Grading Points in 180 days.
   • To start receiving Platinum Rewards, Member must accrue between 50,000-99,999 Grading Points in 180 days.
   • To start receiving Diamond Rewards, Member must accrue 100,000 and over on Grading Points in 180 days.
2. Grading Points cannot be redeemed.

1. A Member's Reward Level will be upgraded as follows:
   • Basic, Bronze, Silver and Gold Members who have earned enough Grading Points to graduate to the next Reward Level, are upgraded automatically.
   • Gold and Platinum Members will be assessed each month based on their average spend over six months. Members will be notified by the Customer Relations team if their Reward Level will be upgraded.
   • While points accumulation is a factor, members upgrading to the Platinum and Diamond tiers levels are subject to review and approval at the discretion of management.
2. A Member's Reward Level will be downgraded as follows:
   • Bronze, Silver and Gold Members will be automatically downgraded if they have not accrued the Grading Points required to remain on their current Reward Level. This will be assessed at 11.59pm the day before their Anniversary Date and will occur every 12 months based on the Member's Anniversary Date.
   • Platinum and Diamond Members will be downgraded if they have not accrued the Grading Points required to remain on their current Reward Level. This will be based on the Grading Points earned over the prior six months and will occur every 12 months on their anniversary date.
3. Members who have accrued enough Grading Points to remain on their current Reward Level will do so.

1. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond Members will receive Birthday Rewards, subject to clause 30.
2. Birthday Rewards are issued on the first day of the Member's birthday month and are valid for the month of the Member's birthday only. If Birthday Rewards are not redeemed within the birthday month, they will automatically expire.
3. To receive Birthday Rewards, a Member must be an Active Member at 11:59pm on the last day of the month prior to their birthday month.
4. The amount of the Birthday Rewards will be determined by the Members' current Reward Level as at 11.59pm on the last day of the month prior to their birthday month.
5. Birthday Rewards are valid at all dining areas, bars, tenanted outlets and reception at Bankstown Sports, Baulkham Hills Sports, The Acres Club, Bankstown Sports Bowls, Birrong Sports and Auburn Tennis Club. Birthday Rewards cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards, show tickets or externally managed services including but not limited to Uber Eats ordering platform or any other ticket sale facilities e.g. for raffles, bingo.
6. Birthday Rewards cannot be used on gaming machines.
7. Birthday Rewards are subject to change at the discretion of the Club.

1. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond Members are entitled to Tier Anniversary Rewards, subject to clause 38.
2. Tier Anniversary remains are issued when the member progresses to the next Tier Reward Level. Every subsequent year if the member remains on the same Tier Reward Level on each their Anniversary Date they will receive a Tier Anniversary Reward.
3. Tier Anniversary Rewards are valid for one month only from the date of issue. If the Tier Anniversary Rewards are not redeemed during this period, they will automatically expire.
4. To receive Tier Anniversary Rewards, a Member must be an Active Member as at 11.59pm the day prior to the Members' Anniversary Date.
5. The amount of the Tier Anniversary Reward will be determined by the Members' current Reward Level as at 11.59pm the day prior to the Members' Anniversary Date.
6. Tier Anniversary Rewards are valid at all dining areas, bars, tenanted outlets and reception at Bankstown Sports, Baulkham Hills Sports, The Acres Club, Bankstown Sports Bowls, Birrong Sports and Auburn Tennis Club. Tier Anniversary Rewards cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards, show tickets or on externally managed services including but not limited to Uber Eats ordering platform or any other ticket sale facilities e.g. for raffles, bingo.
7. Tier Anniversary Rewards cannot be used on gaming machines.
8. Tier Anniversary Rewards are not redeemable for cash. Tier Anniversary Rewards are subject to change at the discretion of the Club.

1. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond Members are entitled to Tailored Rewards.
2. The frequency of the Tailored Rewards will be determined based on the Member's Reward Level at the time of offer by the Club.
3. The value and type of reward will be communicated directly to the Member.
4. Members who have downloaded and created an account within the Bankstown Sports App will be offered rewards exclusively via the App.

1. All Members are entitled to use their Reward Points to purchase accommodation at the Mercure Hotel. However, Reward Points cannot be accrued on purchases made while at Mercure Hotel Bankstown.
2. This reward is not available on public holidays or on other special events or occasions and is subject to management discretion. All rooms are subject to availability.

1. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond Members will receive a discount when purchasing select show tickets. The member will receive a promotion code to be applied at the time of purchase. It is the responsibility of the Member to utilise this at time of purchase to receive the discount, otherwise the discount will be forfeited.
2. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond Members will be distributed offers from ride share partners from time to time. The voucher must be used by the Member for a trip that originates or concludes at a Bankstown Sports Group venue.

1. The Club Carwash is available at Bankstown Sports only. Any Member can access carwash facilities regardless of their home club, but benefits must be redeemed at Bankstown Sports unless otherwise advised.
2. A valid Membership card or digital membership must be handed to carwash staff at the time when the car is handed in.

1. Diamond, Platinum and Gold Members receive a discount at dining areas and bars, only when paying the full amount with points. This excludes Reception and function bookings.

1. The Club takes no responsibility for replacing Reward Points due to an event which has occurred that is outside of the Club's control, including but not limited to a lost, stolen, damaged, corrupted or faulty membership card.
2. Members are entitled to receive a monthly player activity statement. Members should contact the duty manager or gaming manager for this report.
3. The basis on which you can accrue and redeem Reward Points is determined by the Club in its sole discretion and is subject to change from time to time without prior notice to you.
4. In the event of a technical failure or card malfunction, points will not be available for accrual or redemption and will not be credited at a future time in respect to the purchases or gaming machine or multi-terminal play made during these circumstances.
5. The Club reserves the right to decide any matter or settle any dispute arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection to More Rewards and our decision on any such matter or dispute will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into. BDSC reserves the right to make changes to these terms at any time without notice and continued Membership will be deemed accepted of these terms as amended from time to time.
6. These terms and conditions are governed by the law applicable in the state of New South Wales and each party submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state. This is the entire Agreement between the Club and you in respect of its subject matter and supersedes any prior agreement, representation and or promotional material.
