Cocktail Recipes

Vodka with Crushed Lime and Mint

Made with seasonal citrus and aromatic mint, this effervescent muddled cocktail will get your dinner party off to a flying start.

Preparation Time
5 minutes

Ingredients (serves 6)
55g (1/4 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
24 fresh mint leaves
3 limes, quartered
180ml vodka
Soda water, chilled, to serve
Ice cubes, to serve

Method
Divide the sugar, mint and lime among serving glasses. Use the end of a rolling pin to gently pound until lime is crushed.
Pour vodka among glasses. Top with soda water and ice. Serve.

Chill out on a Friday night with this delicious cocktail which blends fresh watermelon with pineapple juice.

Watermelon mai tai

Preparation Time
5 minutes

Ingredients (serves 8)
500g peeled watermelon, chopped
125ml (1/2 cup) Golden Circle pineapple juice
125ml (1/2 cup) white rum
60ml (1/4 cup) triple sec liqueur
1 tsp grenadine
Crushed ice, to serve

Method
Place the watermelon, pineapple juice, rum, liqueur and grenadine in the jug of a blender and blend until smooth.
Divide the ice among serving glasses. Pour over watermelon mixture to serve.

Notes & tips
Note: Make this recipe just before serving.
Tip: To make this drink suitable for designated drivers, omit alcohol and increase the pineapple juice to 1 cup.
