Whether you have completed one or one thousand - interviews can be stressful. However a small amount of preparation can set your mind at ease and increase your chances of landing the job you want.
Bankstown Sports recommend the following advice for prospective employees:
1. Don't be late - we respect your time so we ask that you respect ours. Double check travel time and aim to arrive 15 minutes early.
2. We are proud of our club and its achievements - look around our website prior to your interview and brush up on your knowledge of Bankstown Sports.
3. Prepare some questions - we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the club, and it also demonstrates you have an interest in the venue.
4. Practice makes perfect - talk to the mirror as you are getting ready or kindly ask family members and friends to test you with interview questions.
5. First impressions count - make sure you dress appropriately and are well groomed for your interview. Professional clothes, dress shoes (closed toe, no sneakers or trainers) and clean, neat hair are a must. Remember to remove or cover any facial piercings.
6. Don't forget to pack your smile and be positive - the interview gives us the opportunity to meet you and learn more about you, so just relax and you will do great.
