The ClubGRANTS Scheme is designed by the government to ensure that larger registered clubs in NSW contribute to front-line services in the local community. Under the legislation, Bankstown Sports Club is required to invest 2.25% of total gaming revenue in community projects under three specific categories. The first category covers community welfare and social services, community development and community health services and employment assistance activities. The second category covers other community development and support services. The third category is a statewide funding pool known as the ClubGRANTS Fund for large scale projects associated with sports, health and community infrastructure.
